" It has been my pleasure to help adolescents to older adults. My clients often include people dealing with troubling relationship issues, pre-marriage and marriage concerns, marital affairs, stress, anxiety and depression. Many also come to help identify and resolve the issues holding them back from getting in to strong intimate relationships. The conversations fall apart and they dont know the skills for having successful conversations about difficult topics. Depression and anxiety are the most frequent symptoms motivating clients to pursue psychotherapy. Other issues include, parenting, self-control, low self-esteem, sense of emptiness/ stagnation and creative blocks. ", Most people try therapy after many attempts at solving their problems in other ways. Friends and family can give emotional support and suggestions but are frequently unable to affect any real lasting change. Although they care, they are not trained to deal with underlying and current issues that cause or exacerbate problems. , I am Past President of the American Mental Health Counselors Association. I treat clients in an emotionally safe, confidential, non-judgmental, compassionate and comfortable setting. I have spent over 20 years teaching counselors HOW to become counselors. I bring a breadth of experience to conflicts experienced through developmental life and relationship stages.
