Visiting with a therapist takes a lot of courage. It is a step toward making changes in your life. During your initial visit I will obtain a personal history and the reason for your visit. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where we can develop a plan to identify your strengths and work together to resolve your presenting issue. My therapy style is often a combination of interactional, cognitive behavioral, motivational and mindfulness therapy. Many clients find my experience with the NYC Fire Department and social worker training to be beneficial for them. , I have experience working with individual, couples and families. Although teenagers can be challenging in a therapeutic setting, I enjoy working with them. My experience includes but is not limited to helping people deal with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma and PTSD. My experience in the alcohol and substance abuse field spans 36 years.
