About Us

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. My vision is to empower children, youth, and families in the communities through evidence-based counseling. My treatment approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a systems approach. I am well trained in play therapy, Infant Mental Health, Trauma-Focused CBT, EMDR therapy, Modular Approach to Therapy for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma or Conduct Problems (MATCH-ADTC), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) & Positive Parenting. I have ample experience in assisting a diverse array of clients in regaining hope, joy, and purpose in life. , I work with children, youth, young adults, and families who may deal with challenges such as anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, grief, self-esteem, ADHD, Autism, and parenting challenges. I particularly specialize in counseling children to help them grow, explore their world and make healthy changes through the use of play among other modalities. , Approaching my clients from a Christian, faith-based perspective, my strengths are patience, empathy, listening and developing a trustworthy and safe environment. I strive to provide a safe and secure environment, meet my clients at where they are, and develop personalized interventions and coping strategies for them.
