I specialize in helping teens, adults and families who are struggling in their relationships. You may find the trauma or discord from your past is resulting in unhappy relationships where you feel disconnected or misunderstood. This can include parents feeling frustrated and needing practical strategies, academics navigating a competitive environment, or those overwhelmed by depression, anxiety, or low self esteem who are ready to release unhelpful symptoms. I provide tailored strategies to uncover your powerful authentic self, understand your inner dialogue more fully, and support you in creating more harmony within yourself. I support you in gaining understanding of how some habits of behaving and thinking may be strategies you learned when your needs were not met as a child and are negatively affecting relationships or are causing you suffering. , I utilize a variety of treatment approaches that I tailor to your individual situation. I will likely weave mindfulness, self-compassion, knowledge about the nervous system, and communication skill-building into our sessions. I pull from therapeutic modalities such as Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
