My area of expertise is in the treatment of substance use, co-occurring disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, and trauma. My background includes working with adults, adolescents, and children. Many times our own thought patterns can lead to feelings of anxiety, depression, and seeking out unhealthy coping skills. By focusing on our thought process, we are able to change our feelings and behavior. Together, we can achieve your goals by working through self-defeating patterns or past trauma and developing healthy ways of coping with the challenges in your life. , My career has focused on the clinical treatment of a variety of disorders from children to adults. Often our society focuses on "putting a band aid" on problems rather than finding and resolving the root cause of symptoms. My treatment focuses on therapeutic intervention that addresses the core of the problem.
