In my experience most clients with relationship issues, social anxiety, depression, low self esteem and substance use issues have an underlying trauma they have yet to process. I use trauma informed interventions (EMDR,) CBT, AEDP, family systems and provide tools and exercises clients can do to maximize their therapeutic results. I also teach relaxation and coping skills during sessions. , I use CBT, which emphasizes the relation between thoughts, attitudes, feelings and behaviors. I also use EMDR, AEDO, mindfulness, multicultural approaches, family systems, and teach coping skills. My clients thus client learn to observe how his or her thoughts, feelings and behaviors are interconnected. From that awareness, change is more readily effected. , I know talking about your personal difficulties with a professional can be daunting, so I do my best to meet you where you are now. There is no pressure to discuss or modify anything about you that you are not ready to. I give practical handles, and offer activities in session to support you with a gentle demeanor and empathy.
