My ideal client is one that is able to do three things. First, my ideal client should be one that is can acknowledge that he/she has an issue/issues that is/are getting in the way of allowing him/her to live a healthy lifestyle. Second, my ideal client is one that is able to take that first step to bringing themselves into therapy. If they have support, that would be even better for that will hopefully increase the chances of long term success. Finally, my ideal client will be one that is not just coming into sessions when they are required, but that they are doing the work outside sessions that is needed to have success. , In my practice, I promote an atmosphere of non-judgment. By this, I take great pride in being able to offer what I like to call a "closed mouth and open mind" when clients are expressing themselves. In turn my primary theoretical concepts that I utilize in helping clients are CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and DBT ( Dialectical Behavior Therapy). , I want to encourage you to start taking the needed step/steps towards wellness by reaching out to me.
