With over thirty-seven years of experience, I have had opportunity to witness and participate in the ever-advancing understanding of the treatment of chemical dependency. As we have expanded our knowledge of the disease concept of addiction, we have advanced our cognitive behavioral approach of care to include neurological/brain chemistry healing utilizing medication management in conjunction with individual and group therapy.
