At some point in our life we hit a bump in the road. It has been my experience that with the right tools and a supportive system, the client can do extremely well in therapy. My goal is not to have the client in therapy for years to come, but rather to enable them to get over the hurdle they face and live the most productive life that they can. Most of the work I do is with either individuals or families. My training is in Family Systems and I am an ongoing participant at the Family Institute of Westchester. , With Family Systems being my background, some hurdles all tie together like a jigsaw puzzle in the end. We are a product of what we have known in our lives, and sometimes we can correct a sadness or a relationship that has gone awry by looking at our family history. , Much of my expertise has been gleaned from working as a volunteer with the Red Cross. As a mental health professional,our goal is always to restore the client as best as possible to their life before the disaster. This is a noble goal and one that I still maintain.
