As a clinical psychologist, I work with people to find ways to create change in their lives. Clients bring a range of concerns, from developing a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships, to adjusting to significant life events such as career change and retirement, parenting, divorce or marriage, or medical illness. While I may have access to experience and strategies that have helped others, I know it is my clients who are the experts on their own lives, and ultimately the ones who create their own change. , My approach to consultation is collaborative and relational. My training is in classical dynamic, humanistic and cognitive-behavioral theories and my approach draws from these mainstream ideas. , I have experience working in both medical and psychiatric hospital systems. I served as behavioral oncologist at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center Division of Oncology Hematology, and was clinical assistant professor at Tufts Medical School. I trained and worked at McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA and was instructor in psychology at Harvard Medical School.
