About Us

I am an institute trained psychotherapist, working integratively, within a contemporary, relational, psychodynamic orientation. After more than two decades of practicing in New York City, I am now located in Western Massachusetts, though I maintain NY licensure. For me, at the heart of a relational, psychodynamic, approach is my effort to strive to meet people where they are and make the work understandable and accessible based on who you are. I respect and build upon the ways in which I am invited to join and help expand psychic space, so that areas which are troubling can be demystified, transformed and feel less daunting. , My approach involves building a dialogue which investigates how you relate to and make meaning of the aspects of yourself or life that feel problematic. My experience working with many models of therapy, underlies my conviction that suffering, or seemingly, self defeating tendencies, reflect complex ways in which our efforts to evolve, push to be realized. , My experience and particular training enable me to approach social location and identity as primary to development and psychological life. I have expertise in the areas of eating and body image issues, LGBTQ+ sexualities, trauma, parenting, reproductive health, HIV/ADIS. I am an experienced clinical supervisor, program developer administrator and educator.
