Hello! My name is Emily. I am a pre-licensed clinician under the supervision of an LMHC at Compass Social Skills and Counseling. I have worked with children and families for nearly 8 years. I have experience with a wide range of ages and love working with adolescents, teens, college students, and young adults. I have been seeing clients virtually through a Telehealth platform for over a year now and have found so many wonderful benefits to this new modality, I find that kids are far more adaptive and responsive to virtual than originally imagined. , I have gotten to work with a wide variety of diagnoses, but I specialize in trauma as well as working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and grief. When working with teens and adolescents specifically, I like to use play-centered therapy and other therapeutic art-making modalities. , I have so much passion for working with clients & helping people of all ages work through what they are facing and creating a life for themselves that they love and enjoy. I like using goal-centered CBT as well as DBT and person-centered therapy while also working on social skills, psycho-education for coping skills, and incorporating holistic elements.
