As a psychodynamic therapist, I specialize in helping adults, adolescents and couples make sense of their inner worlds. My goal is to collaborate with clients to gain autonomy of their emotional lives, foster deep psychological awareness/flexibility and facilitate observable change in how they relate to themselves and others. Clients can expect a highly active, curious and reflective environment in session, where they are challenged and encouraged to develop insight as a primary mechanism of behavioral change. , I bring experience from a variety of treatment environments, including community mental health, college mental health and psychiatric settings. I completed my pre-doctoral internship in Clinical Psychology at the Brattleboro Retreat. , Areas of specific focus are: relationship concerns, personality issues, family of origin conflicts, substance use, mood disorders, index & complex trauma, first responders, motivation, self-esteem, executive function concerns and anxiety disorders. I also offer psychological testing and evaluation services for adolescents and adults.
