I see therapy as a unique opportunity to try out new ways of relating: with more honesty, more curiosity, more courage. I work with adults, couples, adolescents, and families of all ages and configurations who are seeking greater joy, ease, and satisfaction in their lives and relationships. The search for a therapist may begin with a crisis or trauma, or might be a step in a more gradual process of self-searching and growth. Whatever brings you to this moment, you are likely hoping to feel different in some way than you do today. , Recurring themes in my work include anxiety and depression, relationship/family conflict and crisis, struggles with identity, loss, grief, trauma, fertility & parenting difficulties, spirituality, creative blocks, illness, immigration, and student issues. I aim to meet you where you are at, and I welcome exploration of racial, sexual, and gender identities. , I am a Harvard Medical School Psychology Instructor trained in psychodynamic, humanistic, cognitive behavioral & mindfulness-based therapies, but I believe a strong sense of connection is the most important element in seeking a therapist. I am happy to help you navigate your insurance to help make therapy affordable. The process can be easier than it seems.
