I am a licensed mental health counselor with a Master’s degree in expressive arts therapy from Lesley University. I have nearly 40 years of clinical counseling experience. My practice has long been focused on adults over the age of 60 and their family caregivers. I have provided consultations, supportive counseling, care coordination, and medical advocacy to countless elders and their family caregivers. , My focus is very much existential as I assist people to find meaning and fulfillment, even in the most difficult circumstances. I use techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Expressive Art Therapies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. , We humans have a unique and awesome capacity for joy.
