Facing change can be overwhelming. As I guide people through the process, I operate from a place of compassion, authenticity, and empathy. This may look different depending on the problems at hand. With addiction, I hold clients accountable to following through with their recovery plan. I do not shy away from defenses, manipulation, or games played by the addicted mind. With mental health problems, I tend to follow my client’s lead, offering support and suggestions/techniques grounded in science, research, and my experience. I also specialize in treating family members with loved ones struggling with addiction recover on their own. , I specialize in addressing problems related to substance abuse, family members affected by substance abuse, trauma, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and ADHD. Human beings have a fundamental need for connection. We are the product of our relationship with ourselves (including our biology, genetics, and thought patterns) and others (present and past). , Change can be daunting.
