My clients describe me as a genuine & actively engaged therapist. I am an experienced licensed psychologist who has worked in College Counseling, Hospitals, & Private Practice. I work with professionals & college students. Therapy research indicates that no single form of counseling is effective with all clients or problems, therefore I match my approach to the needs of my clients. I integrate several theoretical orientations, including Psychodynamic (insight oriented), Cognitive-Behavioral (skills development), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and emotion focused approaches, which create the basis of my compassionate style. , My clients find relief from symptoms of anxiety, depression, panic attacks and overcome traumatic experiences. Those seeking career changes feel greater confidence as do students at all levels. We work on experimenting with new ways of thinking and behaving to change old patterns that are getting in the way of living the life they value. , My Insight oriented and relational based approach helps clients who want to develop close, trusting and intimate relationships that are based on mutual respect and good communication. My work is grounded in a holistic framework that addresses physical health, culture, race, gender, sexual identity, and spirituality.
