As human beings, we are all seeking safety, joy and connection. Inevitably, roadblocks arise blocking this path. Luckily, the therapeutic process can help a person move through these obstacles. This could mean the dissolving of old wounds, cultivating more fulfilling relationships, or discovering a sense of freedom. I enjoy working clients who wish to explore their authentic nature and are open to learning about their body and unconscious process. LGBTQ friendly. , I offer a transpersonal approach that draws from body-centered psychotherapy, EMDR, mindfulness and Gestalt tradition. I offer a variety of techniques and approaches for addressing relationship struggles, trauma, addiction, etc.. I especially enjoy working with dreams. I also weave in a spiritual perspective that helps a person access a deeper wisdom. , Ultimately, therapy is about learning to take care of the self. This involves learning new coping skills, understanding one’s story, healing the wounded child and setting appropriate boundaries. I also try to teach clients how to be more present and alive in their body. This is an important skill helping one develop mastery over emotional distress.
