Hi! My name is Vielka and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Massachusetts (LMFT). I have been working in the mental health field since 2012. I have experience conducting individual and family therapy, in various settings: in-office, in the home, and online with clients presenting with a broad range and severity of clinical issues. However, I have the most experience working with Autism, depression, anxiety, a wide range of challenges within family relationship/blended families/parenting struggles, teen concerns, as well as personal growth, adjustment issues, and crisis. , In my work I have come to understand that struggles and feelings are very unique to each and everyone of us. Therefore, my job is not to "wave a magic wand to fix" anyone, but instead my job is to join with my clients in a person-centered approach in order to positively address and overcome the challenges that they are facing. , I understand that there is still a lot of stigma surrounding mental health issues; how the process can feel very overwhelming, frustrating and lonely. I also understand that it takes a lot of courage and motivation to reach out for support. Therefore, I am thankful and honored to be given the privilege to be a part of that journey.
