I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Science in Counseling from Missouri State University after years of service work with youth in foster care and individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities. I also practiced as a Professional School Counselor before moving full-time into private practice. , I especially enjoy working with those who are neurodivergent and/or part of the LGBTQIA+ community. I offer trauma-focused services with EMDR-based healing. I specialize in childhood and religious trauma, interpersonal skill development, and anxiety/depression symptom management through CBT techniques. , Because there is not one counseling approach that fits all, I offer a varied style, which means your counseling session could look different from someone else’s or even different from the previous week.
