About Us

I believe that everyone who walks into therapy longs for something more — more than their current stressors, internal conflicts, and personal history have rendered possible for them at the present moment. I also believe that everyone has an innate capacity to realize the change they desire. As your therapist, I will work with you collaboratively and creatively to identify, confront, and overcome the obstacles that inhibit your ability to grow and find peace. I may not have stood exactly where you currently stand, but I have walked the path before you many times, with many different people. I look forward to walking with you, too. , I work from a psychodynamic perspective. This approach is based on the understanding that the unconscious speaks loudly and often, and that it is my job listen closely to everything you aren’t saying, as much as everything you are. Through the process of raising internal conflict into awareness, I will support you in seeking a deeper sense personal freedom. , Using this approach I have expertise working with individuals navigating major life transitions, anxiety, mood instability, relationship issues, personality disorders, and the lasting effects of trauma.
