As a therapist specializing in outdoor experiences, I utilize DBT and mindfulness to support clients in PTSD from outdoor traumas, grief & loss & working with outdoor first responders. I help my client’s improve their self talk to be more compassionate towards themselves, to embody a confident and more focused path forward, to process grief, loss, and guilt, and help them gain courage back into their own lives so they can continue to enjoy the outdoors , My goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment, combining traditional techniques such as DBT, ACT, and CBT partnered with the outdoors for better mental well-being and self-connection. I use visualization and mindfulness techniques partnered with motivational interviewing, coaching, and solution focused brief therapy to best support my patients. , Trust me when I say I see you and I understand your struggle.
